In 1959 the late Howard Maitland Sly founded Dacon Corporation and in the more than four decades since, Dacon has risen to become a leader and innovator in a diversified range of residential developments. Dacon has established an enviable record for product quality and exemplary craftsmanship in home construction in and around the Kingston area.
From humble beginnings and a handful of dedicated employee's and sub-trades, Dacon has evolved from a residential homebuilder to a diversified industry encompassing Land Development, Commercial and Residential Development, Student Housing, Retirement Homes and Property Management. Since its inception Dacon has built and sold over 11,000 housing units and developed, owned and managed several million square feet of commercial and industrial property.
In July 2009 Dacon Construction exited the new home construction business with the sale of its last remaining housing unit. Dacon continues to provide quality after sales service to its clients and all of its obligations under the Tarion New Home Warranty Program.
